This magical 4-hour journey takes us to a fell through ancient snow-covered forests – guided by our head torches or on best case scenario even moon light! You will be amazed how quickly your eyes get used to the dark with snow reflecting light from its surface. There will be a traditional Sámi shelter Kota awaiting us where we will make a fire to enjoy some hot drinks and delicious homemade snacks.
If the sky is clear thousands of stars will be visible and with a bit of luck we might even see the Northern Lights dancing above us in the night sky. There is a stunning, silent, view towards Lake Inari from our camp. Natures incredible beauty will always be there to experience with your own eyes, but just for the memories, don’t forget your camera!
The hike can be done during daytime too.
Hiking distance is about 2km in total, in variable terrain. We will organise a transfer to where we start walking.
This adventure is suitable for families. Duration of the trip 4-5 hours. Warm clothing and good winter boots need. Please inform us of any special dieatary.
