A 4-day trip including 2 nights at our cozy Home Camp and a 2-day trip to Lake Inari. You will feel the atmosphere of big lake. Wide water areas and stony island with old pine wood forests will faschinate you at any weather.In this trip there is a weather permitting.(If it`s too stormy we will hike and row to our camp.In that case day trip with boat on day 4,if weather is calm enough.)
Boat capacity 4 persons. (driver+3 adults or driver +2 adults+2 children)
Day 1- Arrival to our Home Camp. First night will be spent here and you will have an opportunity to explore the surroundings, by walk, bike or even go kayaking on a nearby lake. We will prepare the necessities for the upcoming trip, checking all the equipment needed, put up a Tentsile tree tent to sleep at for the first night and dine at our cozy summer kitchen which will be at your use whenever at Home Camp.
Day 2 - Departure to Lake Inari. We leave by boat from a small harbour near our Home Camp. On the way we will stop at one of the thousands of islands in the lake for lunch, after which we will continue to our final destination, Lake Camp. Here we will put up the Tentsile tents, do some fishing, swimming and prepare a nice authentic dinner by open fire.
(If it`s too stormy for boating we will hike or row to one storm proof camp at Inari lake. Here we will set up a Tensile camp and relaxing on the camp.On day 4 if you have time and wind has calmed, we offer you a day trip to the lake.)
Day 3 - After breakfast, we take down the tents and start making our way back to the Home Camp. On the way back there's again a possibility to fish and stop on some island to admire the incredible magnitude of this lake. At Home Camp there will be Sauna and a hot thub heated for you, and we will prepare a dinner at our summer kitchen from fresh, local goods. The night will be spent at Tentsile tents under the amazing night sky.
Day 4 - Breakfast will be served at the summer kitchen and depending of your time of departure there's a possibility to explore the nearby area or visit the village of Ivalo.
